Jesus washes feet
36x48 Acrylic
Inspired by John 13:1–17, this painting portrays the moment when Jesus kneels to wash the feet of His disciples — a humble act of love and service on the eve of His crucifixion. The flowing water symbolizes spiritual cleansing and the grace that purifies the soul.
Through this gesture, Jesus reversed expectations of power and position, showing that true leadership begins with humility. His words to Peter — “If I wash thee not, thou hast no part with me” — remind us that service and salvation are intertwined.
The soft textures and luminous tones reflect the gentleness of His touch, the purity of His purpose, and the command He left with His followers:
“Love one another, as I have loved you.”
